Are you looking for invitations that have a little something extra? Want to order stationery that stands out from the rest? Here at Little Ivory, we absolutely love creating bespoke orders for couples. It makes your stationery so unique and special to you, and allows your guests to get a sense of your big day.
Custom illustrated wedding stationery is the perfect opportunity to show off your personal style. Whether it’s featuring your little furry friends by your side, the beloved place where you got engaged, or that favourite pair of wellies you love to wear at the first sign of rain, Little Ivory can make your dream bespoke invitations to suit you!
As a designer and illustrator, I can work in a variety of styles to suit your needs, whether it’s a flat graphic image with bold colours you’re after, a striking sketch, or a more subtle, gentle watercolour.
How does it work you might wonder?
So, first things first, please bear in mind that custom wedding stationery takes time to lovingly create and produce for you! So, I would suggest a turnaround of between 3-6 weeks for bespoke wedding stationery. If you are in a rush to get your invitations out by a certain date (firstly, don’t fret too much – most of your family and friends will know when your big day is!), do let us know and I can see what we can do.
You also need to think about on-the-day stationery. This also takes time to produce if you are looking for custom design or illustration, so make sure not to leave this too late either!
If you have a design in mind – super! All you need to do is pop me an email at email@example.com and send on your brief. This might include a description of the design you would like. Perhaps you have some reference images that you like certain elements of that you could also send on. (Please note, we do not replicate or copy other designs – so please don’t ask us to do so!)
If you aren’t so sure of what you would like, no problem at all! We can start by finding out a little bit about you, and what kind of styles of stationery you prefer. What sometimes helps is setting up a private Pinterest board if you are stuck, where we can collate some ideas and mood boards to get to a point where we can move forward with your custom design.
Once we have an idea of your design, we will work up a first draft for you. This usually involves a sketch to illustrate the layout, the likeness of a portrait etc. From there, once we have settled on the details and made any edits at this stage, we will work up a coloured draft.
Once we have finalised all the details and you have signed off your artwork, it is ready to send to print! To find out more about our printing, click here.
