All of our wedding invitations have matching RSVP cards, as well as other items such as info cards, thank you cards and save the dates.

An RSVP card needs to be a functioning and informative cards with clear directions for your guests to follow. Depending on your requirements, some things that you might need to include on an RSVP card are:

Name or Names of guests

Are they or aren’t they attending? This can be worded in so many different ways. You can put in a formal wording or you can add a touch of your personality and have fun with it. Browse our cards to get some ideas!

Do your guests have any dietary requirements? Your venue or caterers will need to know if there are any coeliacs, dairy intolerant, vegetarians etc so they can plan ahead of time.

Meal Choices. Some couples choose to add in a section on their RSVP card for their guests to choose their main course. You can either give them the option of Meat, Fish or Veg, or else you could outline their choices in more details. It’s up to you!

When to RSVP by? You should include a date for you guests to respond to your invitation by.  We would give a guideline of 4 weeks before your wedding day as this allows plenty of time for you to gather numbers etc. You should also allow a little buffer time for any late RSVP-ers.

How to RSVP. There are a few options for this. A lot of couples tend to include a handwritten stamped addressed envelope so your guests can just pop it in the post. If you have a large amount of invitations, you may want to get your address printed onto the envelopes, or get labels printed to save time. We also do postcard RSVPs which are double-sided cards that have your address pre-printed on the back. All you need to do is affix a stamp. And all your guests need to do is fill the card in and post it. Alternatively, you can save the posting and include email addresses/wedding website/or phone numbers for people to RSVP to.
